Gaspar Ribeiro was born and raised in Rio De Janiero , Brasil with more than 20 years experience. Gaspar is a Master of Brasilia Dance , in particular Zouk Lambada, he has developed his own unique style called "Zouk Evolution" Gaspar is the founder of the 1st Zouk & Lambada Congress in Rio, Brasil and the founder of the Brisbane Brasilian and Latin Dance Congress in 2008 and for June 2009. He also organized the Australian Zouk Championships and created the Zouk & Bachata Nite in Australia.

He is one of the main person responsible for the growth and evolution of Zouk in Australia and have been one of the major drivers of this dance style, teaching and promoting it throughout all of Australia. He is very well known to be one of the foremost expert of Zouk Lambada and has taught many of the top Zouk dancers and instructors in Australia.
