KLDA Rising Star Salsa & Bachata Championship 2010: RI Bachata Champion
A Big congratulations to our Rhythm Identity crew who did very well in the recent Malaysian salsa & bachata competition. Rhythm Identity would like to thank Evelyn & Harry, Helen, Mazmi & Chris, Sharon & James, Khoo Han Wei & Joey Tan for putting on a good show in the KLDA Rising Star Salsa & Bachata Championship 2010. You are all truly our Rising Star~!
A HUGE congratulations is also extended to Evelyn and Harry for being the Malaysian Bachata Champion of 2010! In 2009 Evelyn and her then partner took home the 1st Runner Up at the Singapore Bachata Competition and this year she did us proud by winning the Malaysian championship. Mazmi and Chris Lim from RI also took home a podium position by being the 2nd Runner Up in the bachata catagory.

Let's not forget our wonderful fashion designer Helen Ho of Sieui Collection who did a wonderful job with the costume design which won the Best Costume Award!

Rhythm Identity Updates
Catch Rhythm Identity's crew in the following events in 2010:-
- Salsa Fiesta de Indonesia Bali
- Malaysian Bachata Festival
- Malaysian Salsa Festival
- World Bachata Festival
Our lead instructor Jaxen and his partner Cecilia will be conducting workshops at these events and well as performing. Alongside will also be the Rhythm Identity student performance team who made a debut in 2009 at the Malaysian Salsa Festival with an 8-couple cheeky bachata routine. The student performance team also did their first international debut in the Bali Salsa Festival.
