Though new to the salsa scene, she has proven herself to be a true salsera at heart the moment she stepped into the salsa scene. Having been trained under Rhythm Identity, she has utilized her skills from her Latin Ballroom background as well as her Belly Dance training to add more sabor into her salsa.

Within a year of her training, she has already taken on the reins of an instructor in Kuantan. She is currently the leading instructor in Kuantan, located at the East Coast Region of Malaysia. Salsa Kuantan is growing, slowly but surely. From Kuantan, it has now branched into the neighbouring state city of Kemaman. Mention salsa in the east coast and Joyce is the name to appear in everyone's mouth!

Though she has performed in many locations throughout Malaysia, her big break came when she performed at the prestigious Malaysian Salsa Festival 2008 in front of nearly a thousand international delegates.

Thie fiery lass will make a name for the Kuantan salsa scene to prove that a small town the likes of Kuantan can burn in the fiery hotness of salsa!
